Ascensión Gómez López is a midwife by vocation, a nurse by necessity, a physiotherapist by chance, and a sexologist by passion. She is also a woman by birth, a mother by luck, and, as she calls herself, a pleasure activist, having made the study and dissemination of female pleasure much more than a cause: it is now a life goal. And from this stems, among other things, the compelling need to write and share information on social media about women's sexual and reproductive health. She has dedicated countless hours of her life to working as a nurse in public hospitals (10 years), as a midwife in both public and private healthcare (from 2007 to the present), as a physiotherapist in private practice (from 1999 to the present), and as an instructor in numerous courses, conferences, and events related to the perineum, sexual health, and childbirth. When she has free time, she dedicates it to her friends, having fun, enjoying life, her daughters, and whatever comes her way.
