Martin Weltner, born in 1957, spent his childhood and youth in Bebra and Hamm. The steam locomotive depots there were frequent excursions for the schoolboy. Later, he worked as an editorial assistant at Eisenbahn Magazin. Afterward, Martin Weltner worked as an editor at Eisenbahn Kurier. Today, he oversees the video and DVD editions of GeraMond Verlag.
