Marc Vidal is a successful Spanish entrepreneur and a renowned economic analyst . Specialized in New Economy, he has been a consultant for innovation and social media for large companies and institutions , a popular media contributor and requested international speaker with his contagious optimism , creativity and enthusiasm to face personal and business challenges . After over two decades of experience in creating online projects , business management and exploring the potential of networks and the New Economy, he became passionate about start-ups , especially in its early stage of development . He founded a dozen companies from Europe and America, he is a renowned investor for technology companies and currently leads IDODI.eu, that has presence in 11 countries. Vidal is characterized by his great intuition in business and in macroeconomic analysis . From his blog, he warned of the dangers of the crisis several years prior to the occurrence and how to deal with the change of economic model in which, according to him, we are moving . He was selected one of the Internet 's most influential people in Spain for his ability to interpret technological and socioeconomic changes. His blog is one of the most followed in Spanish and was awarded the 3rd prize of the best blog EuroBlogs European Awards 2009. He was Director of Social Media Graduate of IL3 of the University of Barcelona and Innovation Program at INCAE , a member of the research group in New Economy of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and of the Senior Program for Harvard & MIT study of new forms of business and technological communication.
