Sandra Siemens is a writer. She lives in Wheelwright, a town in southern Santa Fe. She writes books read by children and young people. She has received numerous awards for her work. Among them, the Norma-Fundalectura Prize (Colombia) in 2008, and twice the Barco de Vapor Prize (Argentina), in 2009 for her book The Wall and in 2019 for her book Bombay. She received the Special Distinction of the National Prize for Children's Literature in 2011. In 2015, ALIJA recognized her books The Potato Omelette and Tattoos as Best Children's Story and Best Young Adult Novel, respectively. And in 2016, Lucía, Don't Take Too Long was recognized as Best Young Adult Novel. She received the White Ravens Award in 2010 for her book The Bat-Foot Man, in 2015 for her book The Potato Omelette, and in 2018 for her novel Crocodile with a Pink Flower. Her novel, Lucía, no tardas, was included in the 2018 IBBY Honor List. Several of her books were included in the Cuatrogatos Foundation's recommended and award-winning lists. In 2020, her book Esa cuchara was chosen among the 20 winners.

Amanda Mijangos is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and the Diploma in Illustration from the Academia de San Carlos, UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico). She studied illustration in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and ceramics at the INBA School of Crafts. Since 2015, she has been combining this craft with illustration. She has illustrated literature and poetry for people of all ages; her books have been recognized on the IBBY Honor Roll, the White Ravens Catalog, and by the Banco del Libro de Venezuela. Since 2013, she has managed and co-coordinated independent spaces dedicated to the professionalization of illustrators and has taught drawing and illustration workshops for audiences of all ages.
